I wrote a guestbook entry but it doesn't appear - why?

Probably the weblog owner uses the option "on with activation" for his/her guestbook. That means that new entries will not be visible until he/she approved and activated them.
 
It is also possible that your guestbook entry was deleted by the weblog owner.
