How can I change the HTML Code of my weblog?

Select your weblog and choose the menu item called "Design". There you open the subsection "Expert: HTML". You will see the HTML Code your weblog uses.

The code is 99% compatible with the code used by design templates of the weblog system WordPress.

Within the HTML Code there are several variables that blogigo replaces with actual HTML code. These are:

  • ::WEBLOG_TITLE::
  • ::WEBLOG_CONTENT::
  • ::WEBLOG_NAVIGATION::
  • ::WEBLOG_LOGIN::
  • ::WEBLOG_ARCHIVE::
  • ::WEBLOG_CALENDAR::
  • ::WEBLOG_TEXTBOX::
  • ::WEBLOG_LATEST::
  • ::WEBLOG_COMMENTS::
  • ::WEBLOG_FAVORITES::
  • ::WEBLOG_POLL::
  • ::WEBLOG_STATUS::
  • ::WEBLOG_FEEDS::

By altering the order of these variables you can change the order of the elements in your weblog. You can also delete variables, but the following variables are always required:

  • ::WEBLOG_CONTENT::
  • ::WEBLOG_NAVIGATION::
  • ::WEBLOG_LOGIN::
  • ::WEBLOG_FEEDS::

Of course you can include your own HTML code. Please note that the HTML, BODY and TITLE tags are generated by blogigo automatically. Your code always appears between the opening and the closing BODY-tag

Please note: all your changes in the HTML code will be lost if you change the design template, the typeface, or the colours of your weblog. In these cases you should save your changes and store them locally so that you can restore them.
